For many years university lecturer,
trainer and hope researcher
For many years, I have been working with positive worldviews based on philosophy, theology, and psychology. As a researcher, lecturer, and trainer, I want to improve people’s everyday lives. Starting from the individual, I look at society as a whole and am committed, even on a small scale, to a fulfilled life and a better world.
How can individuals lead successful lives while transcending themselves, not taking themselves so seriously, growing beyond themselves, and shaping the future we want together with a meaningful task?
" Hope is the precondition for action while at the same time recognizing one's limits. "
Andreas M. Krafft
What is hope?
For decades and even centuries, poets, philosophers, and social scientists have been fascinated and inspired by the human phenomenon of hope. Hope seems to be an existential need in difficult life situations. Without hope, we cannot lead fulfilled lives. Based on various philosophical and psychological theories, the phenomenon of hope can be traced back to five basic elements..
In the Hope Intervention Programme, people are empowered to shape the future according to their wishes and interests. The “Positive Futures” approach is based on the individual’s possibilities and abilities while adopting a global (social, ecological) perspective as a field of action.
